Is Shield of Hope only for veterans?

No. While our founder is a veteran and we proudly support those who served, Shield of Hope exists to serve all people—veterans, families, children, and communities across America.

Do you provide counseling or medical treatment?

Accepted Answer

No. We provide resources, advocacy, and peer support, but we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Veterans: 988, then press 1).

How can I volunteer?

Visit our Get Involved page to fill out the volunteer form. Opportunities include prayer support, outreach, events, admin/tech help, and more.

How can my church, school, or organization partner with Shield of Hope?

Check the Get Involved page or contact us directly. We welcome partnerships for awareness nights, support groups, resource drives, or program sponsorship.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not yet. We’re in the process of filing nonprofit registration and 501(c)(3) status. Until then, donations are not tax-deductible but still deeply appreciated.

How do I know my info is safe when I submit a form?

We only use your information to connect with you about volunteering, partnerships, prayer, or resources. We don’t sell data. Our Privacy Policy will explain further.

We’re based in Texas but our mission and resources serve people nationwide.

Can I request prayer for someone else?

Yes. We believe in the power of prayer and gladly lift up friends and loved ones. Use the Prayer Team form on the Get Involved page.

Do you offer help for domestic violence victims now?

Not directly yet. Our Domestic Violence Ranch is a future program. In the meantime, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
